Carrickfergus Manor is a beautiful residential care and nursing home, located just a short walk from Carrickfergus town. Our home, with a wonderful accessible garden area, is modern and purpose built, and is specially designed to comfortably accommodate up to 90 residents.
We provide kind and comparrionate residential and nursing care, around the clock, for people over the age of 65, including those living with dementia. Our professional care team is highly-trained and experienced to ensure that the highest levels of cqre are provided at all times.
The private bedrooms are beautifully furnished, with en-suite toilet facilities. Residents may bring their own home accessories and furniture, to personalise their space and make it their home. The home also has excellent amenities, including comfortable lounge and dining areas in which residents can relax and enjoy the company of others.
Designed to enable those we care for to maintain their independence, Carrickfergus Manor is a safe, well-kept, home-from-home setting, with a wonderful team and a great reputation.

Since mum went into Carrickfergus Manor in August 2025 we are content knowing she's being taken care of. Staff have been wonderful to mum and our family as well. Mum has dementia and she has been treated with care, dignity and kindness.
The rooms are very spacious and it's a bonus that she has been able to have quite a few bits and pieces from her house. This makes it feel like her own little space. Laundry can be an issue which is totally understandable. But the staff are diligent in trying to recover any missing items. We have recommended this home because it is well maintained and the staff and management go above and beyond every day. They work really hard but are still available when needed. I have a new respect of what everyone does daily at the home. A smile, patience and quick chat go a long way. Social activities are great and everyone is included. We know our mum likes going to the hair salon it makes her feel special. It's nice to see all the ladies looking wonderful.
